Do you need a place to stay while in Kuala Lumpur? I would like to introduce a simple townhouse located in the middle of rainforest jungle and Malay kampung called Sungai Penchala. It's a three bedrooms house, fully furnished with basic furnitures and electrical applainces such as beds, dining table set, sofas, tv and tv racks (with basic astro), closets, fridge, kitchen cabinet and other things that a new house needs.
Actually, the townhouse is divided into two units, one upstairs and the other one downstairs (which is already rented monthly to a family). The downstairs unit has only two rooms compared to the upper one which has three. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed while the other two has one and two twin bed respectively. Approximately five adults can occupy the house at any moment or maximum 8 persons, but things will get a bit uncomfortable when there is more people staying at the house.
I am planning to make this house available for daily rental. Maybe you would like to have a holiday with your family in Kuala Lumpur and have no living space, you may rent this house. The location is rather strategic, right in the middle of a Malay community, surrounded by hilly terrains with forest greenery near to the golden triangle of KL.
The journey to Kuala Lumpur takes 15 minutes, through the Penchala Link Highway, which will cost RM 2 at the Toll. The highway will lead you to the National Monument, Museum, Jalan Tungku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Masjid India dan Dataran Merdeka.
Have you been to IKEA? The Swedish household product brand is housed next to a shopping mall, The Curve and Cineleisure. The area is popular among young adults. There are quite a number of restaurants in the mall such as Starbucks, Kenny Rogers, Dome, TGI Friday, Mc Donald, KFC, Burger King, Dunkin Donat, Big Apple, Secret Recipe, and a few local delicacies restaurant. You might not know what to eat because of the number of choices! This area, which is called Mutiara Damansara is a 5 minut journey by car from Sungai Penchala.
One Utama, is one of the largest mall you can find in Malaysia. For groceries, several big brands such as TESCO, GIANT, COLD STORAGE is just around the corner from the house. In the community itself, there are several stores, warungs and exclusive restaurants operating from morning till the evening. Thus you wouldn't need to worry about food. It is recommended that you have your own vehicle to move about. Taxi servies are available through phone reservations. However, buses are not available.
Rental price is absolutely reasonable. I will give more details and have some photos as well in the near time. If you are interested do contact me through my email....
